The bar stool is a classic piece of furniture by Børge Mogensen from his time as head of FDB's furniture design studio in the 1940s. A frugal and simple design that doesn't make much of a fuss, but fulfils the requirements for which the bar stool was originally intended - to be useful in everyday life and radiate a timeless design.
The J27 is a flexible piece of furniture with multiple functions as needed. Therefore, it can be used at the high table, and at the same time, it's a great place to sit for an informal conversation or when doing homework in the kitchen living room.
In line with Børge Mogensen's uncompromising demand for high quality, the stool is produced in Nordic materials such as either solid oak or solid beech, which gives it a long durability with a natural, patinated look over the years.
The stool has FCS and Nordic Swan Ecolabel certificates.
