FDB Møbler
FDB Møbler is a Danish furniture company established in 1942 to produce functionalist and democratic designs for ordinary people – thanks to the new industrial production, FDB could manufacture high-quality furniture at low prices. During the next decades, designers such as Børge Mogensen and Poul M. Volther created numerous timeless pieces of Danish furniture design. FDB closed its factory in 1980, but in 2013 the Danish Coop launched FDB Møbler and started re-releasing some of the most beloved products of the mid-century Danish design. In addition to the classics, FDB Møbler creates new furniture inspired by the old collections.
Sustainability is a core value of FDB Møbler: combining design and craftsmanship that can last generation after generation is itself an expression of sustainability. In addition, all the wood they use is FSC certified, and all textiles have OEKO-TEX certification.
